Robert Gray
With over 26 years of dedicated service, Chief Robert Gray brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record to his role as the newly appointed Fire Chief of Peninsula Fire District.
Before assuming the position here at Pen Fire, Chief Gray served as Fire Chief for the Felton Fire Protection District in Santa Cruz County for five years, following nine years as Division Chief.
Chief Gray's involvement in the fire service began over twenty years ago, encompassing both paid and volunteer roles. This diverse experience provides him with a well-rounded prospective for his leadership.
Having visited the Lake Almanor area since 1996, Chief Gray, his wife Stacey and daughter Adriana have a vacation home in Westwood, where he's currently living. When his daughter graduates from high school this June, the family will sell their home in Santa Cruz and relocate here.
We are fortunate that his personal connection to Lake Almanor and his leadership experience make him a real asset to the community.
Under his guidance, Peninsula Fire looks forward to continued excellence in fire protection, emergency medical response and community safety.
