We have created this page to share information regarding the proposed annexation of the Chester Fire District. You can find FAQs, related reports, and upcomming meetings regarding this topic. Please feel free to contact Fire Chief, Robert Gray with any questions not answered here at peninsulafire00@gmail.com.  As of December 6th, the application for annexation has been delivered to the county offices that need to review and work has begun to review the application. Once LAFCO has meet and accepted the application there will be a public hearing scheduled to hear from the public. At the public hearing, there will be an oppunity to file a formal protest of the annexation. If 25% or more of the tax paying residents file a formal protest, the process will stop and have to be voted upon at the next regular election. If the election does not pass then the application will be rejected.
